Zelnorm is a medication regulating a motor function of the gastrointestinal tract, a partial agonist of serotonin 5-HT4-receptors with a selective effect on the gastrointestinal tract. Dosage and direction

Do not use this medication if you are older than 55 y.o., have stroke or heart attack, high blood pressure, uncontrolled angina, high cholesterol or triglycerides, diabetes, depression, or anxiety in your history. Contraindication Severe hepatic failure, infancy, pregnancy, breastfeeding, hypersensitivity to Zelnorm.

This medication is well tolerated in majority of patients, but some side effects may occur: headache, abdominal pain, gas, and diarrhea. More serious side effects are angina, heart attacks, stroke, flu like symptoms.
